Does anyone else find it hard to set the cruise control? You have to push the button in quite far to activate the function then it's quite hard to set the speed while also trying to ride the bike.

My first motorcycle with cruise control but I wish it had the following:

1) The button be on the left side
2) Had resume, this would be so much nicer than having to reset it all the time in traffic
3) Had a plus and minus adjustments because it's hard to set the correct speed while using the same hand for the throttle I often don't get the speed I want. It would be great to make small adjustments to get to the correct speed.

Some people are using their left hand to activate and set it but that seems quite dangerous to me.

Hi Fred, yes I find quite difficult to engage too.
But I think it was an aprilia choice to prevent to activate it involuntarily...
The right side also have the plus that you can reach brake and throttlle any time you are trying to activate it :sayok:

Hi,

Maybe you are right but I think you would have much more control if it was on the left because you could control the throttle and break at the same time.

I concur with you and I would like to add that, in my opinion, Aprilia, sometimes, should intervene and give a technical explanation to our questions. bye
